About Love Someone Today Project

With the mission to spread unconditional love and compassion throughout Abra, the Love Someone Today Project began in January 2018 with its first outreach for the children of San Miguel, Bucay, Abra, Philippines. The project’s launch was celebrated with parlor games, simple gift-giving, and shared meals that brought joy and laughter to the community.
During the Lenten season of April 2018, another outreach followed at San Miguel, where children received slippers and food, while teachers were provided with instructional materials and the San Miguel Child Development Center was gifted a wall clock.
To further expand the circle of love, the project reached out once again in December 2019, this time to neighboring Child Development Centers. An Art Workshop was conducted to help children discover and enhance their creativity, paired with feeding activities that fostered fellowship and joy. The project also extended care to indigent senior citizens through the distribution of grocery items and used clothing, alongside educational support for teachers.
Through these initiatives and our annual holiday gift-giving events during Christmas and Lenten seasons, we continue to share love and kindness by providing simple gifts, school supplies, toys, and meals to children aged 3 to 6 years old—especially those most in need.
The Love Someone Today Project stands as a movement of compassion, reminding everyone that we can make a difference through even the smallest act of kindness. With a growing vision, the project aims to reach all 28 barangays of Bucay, Abra, and eventually the entire province, building a lasting legacy of love, service, and hope.

Every moment spent serving others fills hearts with joy and purpose.
